AI Engineer

M9 Solutions is seeking an AI Engineer to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and refine AI solutions.
- Take a hands-on engineering approach focused on building rather than advising.
- Work directly with the client to translate business problems into AI-enabled prototypes and production-ready solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with several of the following technologies and concepts:
- Databricks
- Azure AI Foundry
- GitHub
- Python
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI/ML solution development
- Machine Learning model development and deployment
- Forecasting models (Prophet preferred)
- Linear Optimization
- Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP)
- Ability to demonstrate experience building AI applications, developing prototypes, integrating data platforms, and working directly with business stakeholders to solve complex problems.
