AI Operations & Automation Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Operations & Automation Manager based in Brazil.

This role sits at the core of operational transformation, combining AI, automation, and systems expertise to elevate finance and people operations into highly efficient, data-driven functions.
You will be responsible for optimizing and owning key parts of the operations technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration across finance, HR, and business systems.
The position focuses on identifying inefficiencies, designing intelligent automation solutions, and deploying AI-driven workflows that significantly reduce manual effort.
You will act as a strategic partner to multiple teams, including Operations, Sales, Product, Data, and Revenue Operations, shaping system roadmaps and ensuring data integrity at scale.
This is a highly impactful role where technical depth meets operational strategy, enabling faster decision-making and scalable business growth.
You will also play a key role in strengthening governance, security, and system reliability across the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the identification, design, and implementation of AI-driven automation and process optimization initiatives across finance, HR, and operations systems.
  • Own and continuously improve the operations and finance technology stack, ensuring scalability, reliability, and strong data governance.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage AI tools, RPA solutions, and workflow automation platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs and ROI targets.
  • Monitor system performance, define key efficiency metrics, and track the impact of automation initiatives on productivity and cost reduction.
  • Support risk management efforts by leveraging predictive analytics and AI to anticipate operational issues and improve system resilience.
  • Oversee data integrity, backups, system availability, and compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide system enhancements, influence roadmaps, and ensure seamless integration across tools and platforms.
  • Provide hands-on support, documentation, and training to users while continuously improving operational runbooks and processes.
  • Partner with HR systems ownership roles to identify automation opportunities and improve end-user experience across tools.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Informatics, or a related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in finance operations, HR operations, or workflow automation within fast-paced, technology-driven environments (SaaS preferred).
    • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools, APIs, webhooks, and system integrations across enterprise platforms.
    • Proven expertise with ERP systems (NetSuite OneWorld or equivalent), preferably in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
    • Proficiency with automation and integration tools such as n8n, Zapier, Celigo, and familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms.
    • Strong technical capability with scripting or programming (JavaScript, SuiteScript, SQL, or Python considered an advantage).
    • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel/Google Sheets and BI platforms (e.g., Sigma or similar).
    • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and structured deployment processes.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational quality.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in English.
