Air Conditioning Technician

Job Summary

You will service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-conditioning systems, including split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF units. You will handle breakdown calls, perform chemical washes, gas top-ups, and assist with installations while ensuring safety and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in air-conditioning units promptly during breakdown calls
• Perform chemical wash and chemical overhaul to maintain system efficiency and hygiene
• Carry out gas top-up, leak detection, and testing to maintain system safety and functionality
• Work with split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air-conditioning systems to meet diverse client needs
• Assist in installing and replacing indoor and outdoor air-conditioning units as required
• Complete detailed service reports and update supervisors on work progress and issues
• Follow company safety procedures to ensure safe work practices at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping and proper care of tools and equipment to support efficient operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in air-conditioning servicing and repair
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems to enhance troubleshooting and repair capabilities
• Possession of Class 3 Driving Licence to support mobility for service calls
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills applied to air-conditioning systems
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn to adapt to evolving technologies and procedures
