The primary purpose of this position is: This position provides the United States Air Force a unique capability to plan, organize, coordinate, and employ special operations in support of sensitive, compartmented, and special access missions directed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF).

DUTY 1: Responsible for planning, coordinating, dispatching, monitoring and supporting special air operations flights, and the management of associated unit flying hour programs. DUTY 2: Supports air operations mission taskings and acts as liaison to multiple outside and/or federal agencies. DUTY 3: Provides management and direction to ensure timely mission planning and support expertise.
