Aircon Technician (Residential & Commercial) | Established SME | Immediate

Job Summary

Perform servicing, maintenance, and installation of residential and light commercial air conditioning systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform general servicing of split, multi-split, and cassette aircon units for residential and light commercial settings
• Conduct chemical washes, chemical overhauls, and condenser cleaning to maintain system efficiency
• Execute new system installations including piping and trunking for System 1, 2, 3 and above
• Perform gas top-ups and conduct leak checks to ensure system safety and functionality
• Service and maintain ducted and FCU units for corporate clients according to contract requirements
• Complete scheduled service contracts including quarterly and annual maintenance visits
• Liaise professionally with customers on-site and document job details accurately for records
• Assist with parts sourcing and manage stock levels when required to support maintenance operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Physical fitness to perform ladder work, carry equipment, and operate in confined spaces safely
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Class 3 driving licence to facilitate transport to job sites (company transport provided)
• Basic troubleshooting and minor repair skills for compressor and PCB faults to support maintenance
