AIRCRAFT MECHANIC (TITLE 32)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1063000 and is part of the NC ASO, National Guard (ASO-AASF 1/ Manning Doc 4621-037).

As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, WG-8852-12, you will manage, monitor or perform overall maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more highly technical, high performance military aircraft; ensure Unit Level Logistics-Aviation (ULLS-A) and other aircraft documentation accurately reflect status and airworthiness of assigned aircraft; clear Red X status symbols on aircraft forms for work performed by others; plan, develop and conduct proficiency training during the technician work week to a multi-faceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel; prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and support exercises; perform other duties as assigned.
