Airfreight Operations Executive (Import & Export Documentation)
Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Handle full end-to-end Air Freight operations, including cargo space booking, terminal coordination, and import/export processing.
- Prepare and manage critical shipping documentation such as Air Waybills (AWB), permit declarations, and manifest submissions.
- Provide high-level pre- and post-shipment customer service, ensuring professional handling of enquiries and proactive issue resolution.
- Liaise with customs authorities and internal teams (Warehouse, Transport, Compliance) to ensure full regulatory adherence and smooth cargo movement.
- Plan and coordinate specialized logistics for local and overseas exhibitions, events, and high-value movements (DG & VAL cargo).
- Monitor and track cargo status using internal systems and CCN, providing real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in sales support activities, including the preparation of freight quotations, client follow-ups, and KPI reporting.
- Analyze operational data to contribute ideas for process improvements and increased efficiency.
- Support logistics projects and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in international trade with a willingness to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a high level of attention to detail for data entry.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team player across diverse departments.
- Prior experience or knowledge in DG (Dangerous Goods), VAL (Valuable Cargo), or CCN systems is a significant advantage.
