Airport Baggage Handling Officer

Job position: Airport Baggage Handler (Shift Work)

Shift pattern: 3 Days Work , 2 Days off basis (Rotating Shift)

Shift timing: 9am - 9pm / 9pm - 9am

Working Location: Changi Airport

Job Scope:

*Safely load and unload passengers’ baggage from aircraftcargo holds, baggage carts, and conveyor belts.

Sorting and Tagging:

*Sort baggage based on flight destinations and ensure propertagging to avoid misplacement.

Transporting Baggage:

*Operate baggage carts and other ground handling equipmentto move luggage between terminals, aircraft, and baggage claim areas.

Handling OversizedItems:

*Manage special or oversized luggage (e.g. sports equipment,strollers) following airport procedures.

Baggage ClaimsSupport:

*Assist in locating and retrieving lost or delayed baggagewhen needed.

Safety and Security:

*Follow all airport safety and security protocols to ensurebaggage is handled securely and efficiently.

Team Collaboration:

*Coordinate with ground staff, ramp agents, and airlinerepresentatives to ensure smooth baggage operations.
