AM - Banquets

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events and functions from initial client consultation through post-event follow-up
  • Manage banquet operations, including room setup, table arrangements, décor, and technical requirements
  • Supervise and train banquet staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand event requirements, preferences, and expectations, whilst handling inquiries and special requests with professionalism
  • Coordinate with the food and beverage team to ensure menu execution and service quality
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for catering, décor, entertainment, and other event services
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring profitability whilst maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain detailed event documentation, timelines, and checklists to ensure organised execution and drive continuous improvement
  • Proven experience coordinating and executing large-scale events and functions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise staff
  • Excellent customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in event planning and banquet management software
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage operations and service standards
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events
