Job Summary

The student ambassador, student employee plays an active role in Lindenwood University’s strategic recruitment efforts. This position is responsible for providing campus tours, calling prospective students, and operating efficiently within a professional work environment. Student ambassadors are expected to be positive role models across campus.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides campus tours to prospective students and their families
  • Participates in phone campaigns
  • Provides a high level of customer service and professionalism to students, families, and University personnel
  • Collaborates with campus leadership to continuously improve job-related processes
  • Recognizes negative situations and responds in a positive manner to alleviate prospective student and family concerns
  • Accurately files sensitive records
  • Maintains professional conduct in all job duties
  • Facilitates and takes initiative in campus recruitment efforts
  • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
  • Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values

Job may require other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.

  • Currently enrolled at Lindenwood University
  • Good academic and financial standing with the University
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
  • Knowledge of student life with the ability to adapt to each student’s needs
