AMLCO & Senior Compliance Associate

You will own AMLCO deliverables for the Cyprus MiFID entity including the Annual AMLCO Report and AML Risk Assessments, and you will report to senior management. You will lead second line monitoring and testing across AML CFT and broader conduct and compliance areas, document results, findings, and remediation actions. You will drive regulatory engagement with CySEC, the FIU, and authorities, coordinating responses to information requests, inspections, and thematic reviews. You will build and maintain local AML CFT policies and frameworks aligned with EU and Cyprus requirements and group level standards. You will support the Head of Compliance with day to day oversight, governance preparation, and key projects, and serve as deputy during periods of absence.

Responsibilities

• Own all AMLCO deliverables for the Cyprus MiFID entity including the Annual AMLCO Report and AML Risk Assessments
• Lead second line monitoring and testing across AML CFT and broader conduct and compliance areas documenting results findings and remediation actions
• Drive regulatory engagement with CySEC the FIU and competent authorities coordinating responses to information requests inspections and thematic reviews
• Build and maintain local AML CFT policies procedures and frameworks aligned with EU and Cyprus requirements and group level standards
• Support the Head of Compliance with day to day oversight governance preparation and key projects
• Serve as deputy during periods of absence

Requirements

• 4-6 years in compliance roles within Cyprus regulated financial services with direct AML CFT and MiFID exposure including at least 2 years in senior level positions
• CySEC Advanced and CySEC AML certifications
• Experience preparing AMLCO deliverables such as Annual Reports and AML Risk Assessments and executing second line monitoring testing programs
• Proven track record engaging with CySEC FIU or external auditors through inspections thematic reviews or regulatory reporting cycles
• Hands on experience drafting compliance policies and operating or overseeing AML CFT frameworks within EU regulated entities
• Fluency in English and Greek language proficiency is a strong plus
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business ready outputs and drive improvements in workflow efficiency cost and quality
