The position involves hands-on work with data pipelines, analysis, and engineering processes, ensuring information is reliable, structured, and accessible for stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

  • Collect, clean, organize, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for business and technical teams.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficient data flow across systems and platforms.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data using relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Support data architecture initiatives and contribute to scalable and efficient data solutions in cloud environments.
  • Use big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, and Hive to process and analyze large volumes of information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data engineering activities.
    • Strong SQL skills for querying, optimization, and data transformation.
    • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
    • Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
    • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or equivalents).
    • Experience with Big Data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
    • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Understanding of data architecture fundamentals.
    • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
