Analyst Associate OnChain Operations
You will perform essential onchain operations with focus on accuracy and timeliness. You will execute onchain transactions across multiple networks and custody platforms, contribute to automation initiatives, and maintain clear documentation. You will assess new protocols for risk and opportunity, communicate findings to stakeholders, and collaborate with engineering to build scalable onchain infrastructure. You will leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision making and continuously seek to optimize day to day operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor onchain transactions across Solana, EVM networks, and other L1s including lending, borrowing, liquidity deployments and staking.
- Serve as primary HK hours operator for Galaxy's onchain positions, responding to health factor alerts, managing collateral and unwinding when required.
- Configure and manage protocol watchlists in Hypernative or comparable onchain monitoring platforms; design and deploy custom monitors such as LTV proximity, oracle configuration and yield spread alerts.
- Conduct due diligence on new protocols and yield opportunities prior to deployment; evaluate smart contract risk governance structure liquidity and historical incidents.
- Contribute to onchain infrastructure builds with the technology team including automation pipelines webhook triggered execution services and new chain integrations.
- Maintain documentation of onchain positions protocol configurations and operational procedures.
- Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools to improve productivity decision making and output quality in day to day work.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on DeFi experience with personally executed transactions across lending protocols, DEXs, and other onchain products.
- Familiarity with institutional DeFi risk concepts such as health factors, liquidation thresholds, and oracle risks.
- Ability to query onchain data via RPC, blockchain explorers, or data APIs; experience with Python or similar tooling is a plus.
- Familiarity with Fireblocks or comparable institutional custody platforms.
- Comfortable using large language models for scripting, data analysis, and operational automation (e.g. Claude Code, Codex).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate precisely in time-sensitive environments.
- Self-starter who proactively identifies gaps and builds toward solutions.
- Comfortable operating autonomously during HK hours with global teams across New York and London.
- Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
