Analyst / Associate – Recovery, Resolution & Funding Planning

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst or Associate (1–3 years of experience) to support the firm’s liquidity resilience and regulatory planning framework by owning certain end-to-end deliverables, analyzing new products for recovery or resolution risk, driving meetings with stakeholders, and producing extensive senior management facing materials.

This role will provide hands-on experience with Contingency Funding Planning (CFP), Resolution Planning (including 165(d) submissions), and enterprise funding strategy. The Analyst or Associate will work to deliver high-quality analysis, documentation, and governance materials in a dynamic regulatory environment.

This position is well-suited for a candidate seeking to build and leverage strong foundational expertise in Treasury, liquidity risk, and financial resilience.

Key responsibilities of this role:

Contingency Funding Plan (CFP)

  • Own end-to-end annual CFP refresh

  • Draft annual CFP documentation updates and data compilation, ensuring alignment with evolving business profile and regulatory expectations

  • Manage annual CFP testing, including operational test plan refresh and Tabletop exercise preparation which includes designing table scenarios

  • Produce monthly CFP quantification reports and presentation materials

  • Improve stress-readiness and execution clarity

  • Present to and prepare materials for consumption by key stakeholders

Resolution Planning (165(d))

  • Draft and update sections of the Resolution Plan, including draft and quarterback chapters and review artifacts for completeness, consistency, and alignment with regulatory expectations based on individual judgment

  • Substantively address IRF/MRM challenges

  • Maintain BAU documentation and data templates

  • Manage information requests across Finance, Risk, Legal, and business units

  • Prepare materials for internal stakeholder review and regulatory submission

Funding Planning & Balance Sheet Strategy

  • Produce annual Funding Plan and quarterly updates

  • Prepare funding usage and liquidity reporting analytics

  • Perform NSFR attribution analysis and related reporting

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on funding mix and liquidity metrics

  • Perform the above while evaluating for source stability, tenor, NSFR cost, and franchise impact

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Risk, Consulting, or related analytical roles

  • Strong intellectual curiosity

  • Ability to work independently without immediate supervision and direction

  • Strong quantitative and Excel skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational discipline

  • Clear written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a regulatory-driven environment

  • Eagerness to develop within Treasury and liquidity management

The expected base salary ranges from $85,000.00 -$120,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
