The Opportunity
As an Analyst, Information and Data Governance, you will play an important role in supporting the Agency’s information and data governance capability.
You will contribute to the implementation and ongoing management of governance frameworks, processes and controls that ensure our information and data assets are trusted, well-managed, and compliant across their full lifecycle.
Working closely with teams across Investment Data Management, Technology, Risk, Knowledge Management and broader business functions, you will help strengthen governance maturity by supporting assurance activities, maintaining core governance artefacts, and contributing to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of information and data governance frameworks and standards
Maintain governance procedures, documentation and supporting artefacts
Assist governance forums, including preparing materials, tracking issues and supporting reporting
Identify and escalate governance risks and issues in line with established processes
Provide guidance and first-line support to stakeholders on governance requirements
Conduct compliance and maturity assessments against regulatory and policy obligations
Support the preparation of governance reporting
Maintain evidence, metrics and remediation tracking to demonstrate assurance outcomes
Maintain information and data asset registers, catalogues and metadata repositories
Ensure metadata accuracy, lineage and documentation are current and reliable
Support retention, archival and authorised disposal of information and data assets
Maintain lifecycle and disposal records to ensure auditability and compliance
Provide first-level support for staff queries on information management practices
Contribute to training materials and awareness initiatives
Support day-to-day operational activities within the Knowledge Management function
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Experience or an interest in information management, data governance or related disciplines
An understanding of records and document management practices, frameworks or legislation
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage structured data and documentation
A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work across multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams
In addition, you may have:
A tertiary qualification in information management or a related field
Experience working with enterprise content management systems
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA or similar platforms
Experience working in complex, regulated or government environments
Success in this role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships, operate with accountability, and contribute to improving governance practices in a collaborative and evolving environment.
