Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Analyst, SAP Support is responsible for supporting the daily operations of Centric Brands’ SAP ECC environment, with a primary focus on Supply Chain and Finance functional areas. This role serves as a key liaison between business users and the SAP IT team, providing hands-on application support, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination.

The position reflects a high-interaction, business-facing role supporting end users across Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Finance and related SAP processes. The role also supports integrated enterprise platforms including Infor Nexus and future costing systems, ensuring alignment and coordination across end-to-end supply chain and financial processes. The analyst works closely with external support partner and internal IT team to ensure continuity of operations, data integrity, and alignment with Centric’s SAP standards.

Key Responsibilities (Day-to-Day Focus)

  • SAP User Support & Issue Management
    • Serve as first point of contact for SAP-related questions and issues from business users across Supply Chain and Finance
    • Manage and respond to support requests submitted via the ServiceDesk (ManageEngine SDP) helpdesk channel
    • Conduct regular help sessions to support end users in SAP ECC transactions
    • Troubleshoot functional issues across MM, FI/CO, SD modules and escalate to SAP IT teams when required
    • Coordinate with the application support team to ensure timely ticket resolution and knowledge transfer
  • Cross-Functional Request Management
    • Work with Supply Chain and Finance business teams to address process gaps, system configuration requests, and master data needs
    • Facilitate discussions and follow-ups for SAP enhancement or change requests, including SAP transport coordination and change record documentation
    • Document and track requests raised in meetings, and distribute recap communications with actions and owners
    • Partner with EDI/B2Bi, Infor Nexus, and related platforms to support vendor collaboration, supply chain visibility, and integration with SAP and future costing systems
  • UAT Coordination & Testing Support
    • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for SAP enhancements, patches, and configuration changes
    • Execute test scenarios and validate system behavior against business requirements
    • Support testing and integration validation for Infor Nexus and future costing system implementations, ensuring data accuracy and process alignment with SAP
    • Log defects in the helpdesk system and work with the application development team to resolve issues
    • Participate in system validation sessions prior to transport release to Production
  • Training, Documentation & Communication
    • Develop and maintain SAP user training materials, job aids, and process documentation specific to Supply Chain and Finance workflows
    • Conduct onboarding sessions and refresher training for new and existing SAP users
    • Send recap communications summarizing decisions, action items, and next steps following key meetings
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of Centric-specific SAP configurations and custom transaction codes
  • Meeting Facilitation & Follow-Ups
    • Organize and lead working sessions for SAP issue resolution, process reviews, and project kick-offs
    • Drive alignment across IT and business stakeholders on requirements and proposed solutions
    • Track action items from meetings and follow up to ensure completion within agreed timelines

    Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

    Experience

    • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC functional support, business analysis, or a related role
    • Experience supporting Supply Chain processes (MM, SD) and/or Finance processes (FI/CO, AP, AR) in SAP ECC
    • Prior exposure to apparel, footwear, or consumer goods industry preferred; experience with the SAP AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution) add-on a plus
    • Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems (Manage Engine, ServiceNow, or equivalent)

    Technical Skills

    • Working knowledge of core SAP ECC modules: SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling)
    • Ability to navigate and perform end-user transactions in SAP GUI
    • Understanding of SAP master data concepts
    • Basic familiarity with SAP output types, condition records, and partner functions
    • Experience with UAT execution and defect logging
    • Comfort working with Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting; exposure to Snowflake or BI tools (e.g., Sigma Computing) a plus
    • Exposure to Infor Nexus or similar supply chain collaboration platforms, and understanding of costing systems or product lifecycle costing processes is a plus

    Soft Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate SAP, Infor Nexus and future costing system behavior into plain business language
    • Solutions-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving and issue escalation
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open requests simultaneously
    • Comfortable working across time zones with offshore support teams
    • Collaborative and proactive; able to build trust with both business stakeholders and technical colleagues
