Analyst, Privacy

The Analyst, Privacy position is part of the Legal Privacy team that reviews and provides guidance based on business requests for the collection and use of personal data in compliance with global privacy regulations. In this position, you will support the development and maintenance of NBCUniversal’s Legal Privacy program.

Here you can:

  • Review technical and operational documentation to understand how personal data is used and shared and assist in the application and documentation of legal requirements associated with the collection, use, sharing, storing and deletion of the data
  • Help data users understand their obligations and requirements related to personal data
  • Review and comment on required Privacy Impact Assessments, including supporting business clients in properly completing them and helping map personal data flows
  • Liaise with all Business verticals across the NBCUniversal portfolio including working with corporate functions such as HR, InfoSec, Marketing, and others
  • Assist the lawyers with Consent Management Platforms, including reviewing detailed cookie information and other data related to tracking tools
  • Prepare quarterly reports on compliance metrics and help define and improve operational workflows
  • Support various privacy and security-related projects as assigned

Here you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience summarizing complex information into business-friendly terms required
  • 2+ years of experience working with privacy and security-related matters required
  • IAPP Designation (CIPP/CIPM) preferred

This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $65,000- $85,000.
