Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establishes functional solution designs and prepares flow diagrams, input formats, file layouts, calculations and output formats for consensus agreement with users.
  • Structures, configures, tests, documents, and implements or adjust SAP functions in alignment with Cooper Standard system model and general best practices.
  • Performs root cause analysis on reported system errors, establishes appropriate corrections. Assists in triaging urgent incidents.
  • Works with some supervision from the Manager, SAP IT.
  • Communicates with managers and their staffs to negotiate general approaches and program requirements in developing system specifications.
  • Keeps the manager aware of current task status using standard internal reporting methods.
  • Is well versed on the complexity of network communications and data base systems when designing and changing functions which affect these critical components.
  • Works closely with user representatives and other systems staff as part of a cross disciplinary team.
  • Continually seeks self-education in SAP ERP and related systems, and utilizes books, manuals and resource aids to their fullest potential.
  • Maintains technical expertise in area of responsibility and keeps current to corresponding technology.
  • Develops and maintains relevant system and process documentation for existing and proposed processes.
  • Coordinates work as needed with legacy systems personnel for interfaces and/or data conversions.
  • May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred 2018 or 2019 passed oue

Knowledge Expectation

  • At least 1-3 years of relevant SAP MM/ module configuration in an applications development environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively, self-motivated, and works without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communications skills required to interact with both IT resources as well as business users. The ability to give clear verbal and written information geared to specific audiences.
  • A thorough understanding of the SAP core ERP software toolset. Experience in configuration / coding, analysis, software deployment, systems development lifecycle; and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure on Master Data migration activities and familiar with LSMW,LTMC & BDC
  • Demonstrated design and configuration proficiency in SAP MM with knowledge of Vendor and Item Master, Master data
  • Will act as a liaison between the business and IT to define, design, and implement SAP solutions.
  • Must have the ability to absorb information quickly and make decisions as to how to proceed with each issue based on its own merit.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to present in front of large groups.
  • Demonstrated design and configuration proficiency in SAP MM/PP with knowledge of Vendor and Item Master, Master data
