Description:
Join our Analytical Methods Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you will contribute to analytical method validation, transfer, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for a diverse portfolio of products and technologies. As a Scientist II, you will independently perform laboratory studies, analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare technical documentation, and participate in analytical investigations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure analytical methods are robust, reliable, and compliant with GMP requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise and expand scientific capabilities through hands-on experience with analytical methods in a collaborative scientific environment.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline, or Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience
- Experience in analytical laboratories, preferably in GMP-regulated environments
- Familiarity with analytical method validation, transfer, or troubleshooting activities
- Hands-on experience with chromatographic, spectroscopic, or related analytical techniques
- Ability to execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate scientific conclusions
- Experience preparing technical documentation
- Understanding of GMP principles and quality systems
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Salary
€1 983 –€2 970 gross/month
The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1 983,33–€2 970,83.
