ANS_Resident Engineer Subaru 5G TCU

Job profile:

Resident Engineer (SW / HW) acts as the primary technical contact between Aumovio Project Team and the OEM customer. The position is stationed on-site (OEM site) to integrate products, troubleshoot hardware and software issues and manage system, tests, validation, communication.

Internal contacts:

Project Manager, Product Line (R&D), Acquisition team, Logistics, Sales, Quality

External contacts:

Customer R&D, Customer Marketing, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics

Main tasks:

Establish a network and act as a customer point of contact.

Connecting the customer with Project Manager, Engineering, and other stakeholders within Aumovio Project Team organization.

Initiating, managing, and supporting change management.

Assign and monitor project status at the customer site.

Monitoring progress, milestones and ensuring deliverables meeting quality standards.

Risk Mitigation – identifying, analyzing, and solving potential problems before they arise.

Analyze project status, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule to ensure the project / customer requirements can be met.

Identifying and finding solutions for potential risks, such as budget constraints or supplier delays.

Acting as the central hub for the team members.

Report project outcomes and / or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

to project work plan.

Establish a network and act as a central point contact customer, project management, engineering and other stakeholders within Aumovio ANS.

Competencies:

Technical skills – strong background in both Embedded Firmware and Hardware debugging

Strong background in both embedded SW and HW debugging

Risk Management

Reporting (regular SW / HW status update)

Documentation

Communication skills to translate customer complaints into technical tasks without impacting the project

Experience:

3 y in R&D / 2y in customer relation

Confident use of SW coding (Catia, Creo, Prisma, PDM tools). Experience with CAD vehicle architecture.

Experience with Quality tools.

Experience with Aumovio projects.

Skills in teamwork and international team communication.

Critical thinking, English, Japanese language.
