Position Summary<\/b>
<\/p>

We are seeking a detail\-oriented AP & Accounting\nSpecialist to manage the end\-to\-end accounts payable process and support\ngeneral ledger operations for our Canada business. This role is responsible for\nensuring payment accuracy through 3\-way matching and managing daily cash\nactivities , while also handling month\-end close, account reconciliations, and\nfinancial reporting.

    Key Responsibilities<\/b>
    <\/p>

    1. Accounts Payable & Payment Accuracy<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • 3\-Way\n Matching: Review PO, invoice, and receipt results to ensure accuracy and\n completeness before processing.
      <\/li>
    • Payment\n Validation: Validate vendor, seller, and operational payments prior to\n execution.
      <\/li>
    • Discrepancy\n Resolution: Identify billing or payment issues and work with relevant\n teams and stakeholders to resolve them.
      <\/li>
    • Vendor\n Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and follow up on\n Credit Memos.
      <\/li><\/ul>

      2. General Ledger & Month\-End Close<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Accounting\n Operations: Oversee day\-to\-day accounting activities and maintain the\n integrity of financial data.
        <\/li>
      • Close\n Process: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
        <\/li>
      • Financial\n Reporting: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and\n supporting schedules to ensure timely financial statements.
        <\/li>
      • Compliance:\n Ensure all accounting activities comply with internal policies and\n accounting standards.

        3. Cash Management & Treasury<\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Cash\n Monitoring: Manage daily cash activities and monitor bank balances.
          <\/li>
        • Forecasting:\n Prepare and maintain short\-term cash forecasts to ensure sufficient\n liquidity.
          <\/li>
        • Reporting:\n Support treasury\-related reporting as needed.
          <\/li><\/ul>

          4. Process Improvement & Internal Control<\/b>
          <\/p>

          • Internal\n Controls: Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails to ensure\n strong internal controls over financial reporting.
            <\/li>
          • Efficiency:\n Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and support system\n automation or ERP enhancements.
            <\/li>
          • Audit\n Support: Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
            <\/li><\/ul>

            Qualifications<\/b>
            <\/p>

            • Education:\n Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
              <\/li>
            • Experience:\n 3\u20136 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
              <\/li>
            • Technical\n Skills: <\/span>Strong experience with\n 3\-way matching and high\-volume transactions.
              <\/li>
              • Solid\n understanding of GL accounting and month\-end close procedures.
                <\/li>
              • Experience\n with ERP systems is highly preferred.
                <\/li><\/ul>
              • Certifications:\n CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
                <\/li>
              • Competencies:\n Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work\n cross\-functionally in a fast\-paced environment
