APAC Purchasing Specialist

Job Description:

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
  • Support implementation of procurement best practices and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with regional purchasing teams on strategic sourcing and benchmarking initiatives.
  • Participate in regional cost reduction programs and supplier consolidation projects.
  • Contribute to regional tenders, benchmarking, and global sourcing activities.
  • Support on reports on purchasing performance
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.

Who we are looking for:

  • At least 2-3 years relevant experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Experience in process improvement and system implementation
  • Exposure to cross-functional or regional projects, preferably involving cost optimization or synergy programs.
  • Experience within a rapidly changing organization in Multinational Company preferably within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is required
