API Integrations Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY: This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining backend integrations that enable seamless data flow across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is a strong backend developer with hands-on experience in modern .NET environments, SQL, and API development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design, develop, and maintain API integrations between internal and external systems
- Build backend services using .NET (v9 or v10) and Entity Framework
- Write and optimize complex queries using SQL/T-SQL
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into integration solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve data flow, performance, and integration issues
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability across connected systems
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements and modernization of integration architecture

To perform this job successfully, the API Integrations Engineer must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able stay on task. They must have a proven ability to research and solve problems in a timely manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in backend or integration development
- Strong experience with .NET 9 or 10
- Proficiency with Entity Framework
- Advanced knowledge of SQL / T-SQL
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills (ability to work cross-functionally)
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimal travel required; may include occasional trips to client sites.
