Apple Home Matter Networking Engineering, Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems

In this role, you would be working with our test labs, Apple internal and third party Thread/Matter engineering teams in the standard. You'd be expected to build out and drive key metrics, and show improvements to the size of the network that can be maintained reliable, but also allow for more traffic to flow on the network as well - as new use cases come in that will demand more activity on the network. A small group of people will be solely focused on profiling the network, identifying problems and solutions, implementing them, testing them - rinse repeat. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5 years of networking experience, in depth knowledge of and experience with C, C++, other languages optional. Make daily use of AI tools in your day to day development Must understand packet analysis and wire traces, must also have experience with Wireless protocols. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Thread experience Zigbee experience WiFi experience Congestion control experience
