Application Engineer

We are looking for an I&D Applications Engineer to own the customer experience by refining our real-time tracking performance. In this role, you’ll act as the vital bridge between I&D, Tech Sales, and field reality.

Responsibilities
Configure and refine radar systems to meet specific customer requirements and performance standards.
Manage radar datasets and establish KPIs to monitor system reliability and efficiency.
Design and execute field tests and quality protocols to validate real-time performance.
Diagnose validation failures and develop solutions to improve core system design.
Drive prototypes toward production while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
Create detailed SOPs, test reports, and tracking tickets to ensure clear communication.
Partner with Tech Sales to support key clients and build performance-demonstrating datasets.
Train and educate internal teams on new system functionality and product usage.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
5+ years of experience working directly with radar equipment and radar data.
Valid Drone Pilot license and a trailer driver’s license (or willingness to obtain them).
Eligibility and authorization to work on military bases and comfort collaborating with military personnel.
Full professional fluency in both English and Dutch.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with an ability to propose and implement system improvements proactively.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience working across diverse teams and cultures.
High autonomy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage tasks independently while staying aligned with the team.
