Application Specialist, SEA (1 year Contract)

Job Summary

The Application Specialist is responsible for providing technical and application support for diagnostic instruments – specializing in Chemistry, Immunoassay, or Hematology. This role ensures successful instrument implementation, validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing customer support while serving as a key liaison between customers, channel partners, and global technical support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for diagnostic instruments and assays, including installation, calibration, verification, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and troubleshooting activities.
• Diagnose and resolve instrument, assay, and workflow issues through analysis of system logs, Reaction Monitor data, and performance trends.
• Provide remote technical and application support to channel partners across Southeast Asia (SEA), ensuring timely resolution of customer inquiries.
• Support customers in optimizing instrument performance, assay workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct trainings for internal and external stakeholders, covering from basic to advanced user needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years Medical Technologist or at least 2 years as Application Specialist with relevant experience in the diagnostics field would be beneficial
• Traveling Required: 10% as required
