Apprentice

To support the LOBCO compliance team in operational, monitoring, and coordination activities within credit and fraud risk (CFR).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in CFR model reviews records and documentation management including coordination with internal stakeholders to monitor implementation progress.
  • Identify opportunities and implement efficient ways of working for maintaining CFR compliance model reviews record management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support implementation of ongoing CFR model oversight through use of data and performance and risk metrics.
  • Support design and implementation of model assurance to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and identify framework enhancement opportunities.
  • Undertake in-depth and thematic trends analysis across CFR activities, data and output, compliance insights and effective challenge feedback to identify cross market risks.
  • Support design and implementation of disparate impact analysis of the data used within the Machine Learning (ML) models.
  • Support preparation of CFR LOBCO team reporting, presentations and updates to senior leadership, including other ad-hoc tasks to support the overall function performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or undertaking an undergraduate course or similar/equivalent course or professional qualification
  • Experience in compliance or legal would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal or written communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to ensure effective documentation and reporting.
  • Experience in using AI & ML tools and analyzing data.
