Job Description

The apprentice plays a role in supporting the day-to-day Engineering Instrumentation and Automation activities, assisting engineers with instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, documentation, and other routine technical tasks

Job Summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Engineer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential engineering skills within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced engineers, contributing to various projects and operations.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist senior engineers in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
* Learn and apply engineering principles to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
* Participate in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities on machinery.
* Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Document engineering activities, maintenance records, and project progress accurately.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support production goals.
* Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities as required by the apprenticeship program.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Qualifications:

* A diploma or degree in Instrumental Engineering.

* Recent graduates or individuals nearing completion of their studies are encouraged to apply.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
