Are you studying Data Technician and want to work with IT support and operations, Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure, or VmWare? We are seeking talented apprentices for Netcompany Operations with 1-2 years remaining in your education, who want to apply their technical knowledge in practice.
Responsibilities & technologies
Netcompany Operations is an established operations organization that handles everything from business and societally critical application operations to infrastructure management in modern data centers and in public cloud.
Our customer base is highly diverse, ranging from small private companies to large public-sector projects. We are not interested in operations for operations' sake, but work with operations based on a vision of making a difference for our customers' business. Regardless of the projects and tasks size, you, as an apprentice in Netcompany Operations, will make a noticeable difference.
As an Operations apprentice, you will join one of our many teams on equal footing with your colleagues. You will work with Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure, or VmWare tasks, which cover everything from handling alarms and system errors to implementing changes across solutions. Your tasks may also include maintaining documentation, reporting, operations, and more. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects from start to finish, which will give you insight into the entire process.
Your responsibilites will typically include:
- Incident management: Handling errors reported by systems as well as customers.
- Change management: Handling both standard changes and project-ordered changes.
- Quality initiatives: Handling measures across solutions to help deliver, ensure, and improve quality.
- Windows and Linux server operations.
- Maintenance of documentation, reporting, deploys, and similar.
About you
We believe that you are initiative-taking, eager to learn new things, and dream of an apprenticeship where you can be challenged by putting your technical knowledge into practice. In addition, we are looking for a person who is motivated, works independently and analytically minded.
To succeed in this role, you:
- Are studying Data Technician with a specialization in infrastructure or programming, preferably combined with a EUX, and have completed foundation modules 1 and 2.
- Are eager to learn new things.
- Have experience with either Networks, Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure, or VmWare (not a requirement).
- Have experience from previous apprenticeships on a shorter or longer basis (not a requirement.)
- Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
