The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a strong foundation in Arabic language and culture for our native Arabic\-speaking students or those with native\-level proficiency, aligning with US educational standards.<\/p>

Job Description: Arabic A Teacher \- Cycle 1 (American Curriculum)<\/strong><\/p>
1. Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education with a specialization in Arabic, or a closely related field from a recognized university.<\/li>
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.<\/li>
- Possession of a valid and recognized teaching certification/license from a US state or an equivalent international teaching qualification recognized in the UAE.<\/li>
- Native or near\-native fluency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is essential.<\/li>
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (written and spoken) for effective communication within an international school environment.<\/li><\/ul>
2. Experience Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>
- Minimum of 2\-3 years of full\-time, post\-qualification teaching experience in Arabic Language (Arabic A) to Cycle 1 students (KG1 \- Grade 5).<\/li>
- Proven experience teaching within an American curriculum framework is highly advantageous.<\/li>
- Prior experience in an international school setting, particularly within the UAE or Gulf region, is preferred.<\/li>
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire young learners in a culturally diverse classroom environment.<\/li><\/ul>

4. Curriculum Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>
- In\-depth knowledge and practical experience teaching Arabic A following American Common Core State Standards (CCSS)<\/strong> for English Language Arts, adapted for Arabic language instruction, or other recognized US national/state standards.<\/li>
- Familiarity with US curriculum frameworks, assessment practices, and pedagogical approaches suitable for Cycle 1.<\/li>
- Ability to align lesson planning, instruction, and assessment with US curriculum objectives and expected learning outcomes for Arabic A.<\/li><\/ul>
5. UAE\-Specific Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>
- Full compliance with all regulations, policies, and guidelines stipulated by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).<\/li>
- Eligibility to obtain or possession of an ADEK Professional Educator License.<\/li>
- Successful completion of all mandatory ADEK and UAE security and background checks.<\/li>
- Understanding and appreciation of UAE culture, heritage, and educational directives.<\/li>
- Willingness to participate in school\-based and ADEK\-mandated professional development programs.<\/li><\/ul>
