Architect - MQ Functional Lead

Overview We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused IT Functional Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of digital capabilities across our R&D and enterprise platforms focused on Material Qualification. This role will serve as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with PepsiCo’s transformation roadmap and operational excellence goals. Responsibilities Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that support business transformation initiatives. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee solution delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of digital capabilities. Manage technical teams and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects. Track KPIs and value realization metrics to measure impact and drive continuous improvement. Support change management and user adoption strategies in partnership with OCM and PMO teams. Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. Qualifications Decisions on functional design and configuration Functional design lead for Material Qualification 9- 13 years of practical experience - professional with significant experience and extensive knowledge in a specialized field. Identify opportunities, analyze issues and integrate best practices for areas of expertise Manages vendors with moderate complexity Strong level of supervision Background working with SaaS solutions and vendors. Java knowledge Strong communication skills Experience with agile methodologies Knowledge of FCID is a plus
