Reporting to the Director, IT Infrastructure, the Network Lead plays a strategic role in the design, implementation, and evolution of Agropur’s critical network infrastructure.

You act as a trusted expert, translating business needs into concrete, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. You contribute directly to shaping standards, best practices, and the technology roadmap, while influencing and guiding your team toward excellence.

The profile that will thrive in this role:


Experience

  • 10+ years in complex enterprise network environments
  • Progression into architecture, engineering, or advisory roles
  • Technical leadership on major projects
  • Hybrid experience (on-prem, cloud, industrial/OT environments)

Technical expertise

  • Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • Cisco (routing/switching), wireless
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent)
  • SD-WAN (Velocloud or equivalent)
  • Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP – hybrid architectures)
  • Network performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Architecture & design

  • Translate business needs into secure, scalable architectures
  • Produce designs, diagrams, and standards
  • Analyze trade-offs (cost, risk, performance)

Operations & governance

  • Strong ITIL knowledge (incident, change, problem, asset)
  • Capacity, lifecycle, and risk management
  • KPI- and metrics-driven management

Assets

  • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, Fortinet
  • Cloud: AWS Advanced Networking, Azure
  • Automation: Python, Ansible, APIs
  • Experience in manufacturing / OT environments
