Architectural Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to join our Structural Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating architectural works with structural and M&E disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E and other related disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings and construction details to ensure consistency with structural design requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical and coordination issues.
- Identify discrepancies between architectural and structural drawings and propose practical solutions.
- Attend project coordination meetings and follow up on action items.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and relevant codes and regulations.
- Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams when required.
- Assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination and documentation.
- Maintain and update project records and related documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry, preferably in structural engineering projects.
- Familiar with architectural drawings, construction details and coordination processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of construction methods and site coordination.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in structural engineering consultancy or construction projects will be an advantage.
