ARCHITECTURAL MANAGER
Job Descriptions
- Lead and manage the architectural team, including Design Coordinators, to ensure smooth execution of architectural works in line with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the production of construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions, ensuring timely approvals.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of architectural designs.
- Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, and interior design trades to resolve interface issues and ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor site progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, manage, and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and site challenges during construction.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and submission requirements (e.g. BCA, URA) and company standards.
- Support project management in reporting, documentation, and coordination meetings.
- Drive timely submission of materials, samples, and method statements in accordance with project schedules.
- Promote workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all architectural works.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architecture (preferably recognised by BOA or relevant professional body).
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least several years in a managerial role within a main contractor environment.
- Proven experience in managing architectural works for large-scale building or high-rise projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local authority submission processes and construction practices in Singapore.
- Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and coordination with structural and M&E systems.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
