Architectural Site Engineer
Job Descriptions
- Technical Implementation: Interpret, explain, and implement architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications accurately on-site.
- Site Supervision & Management: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, worker deployment, and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect work in progress, verify materials, and ensure all construction meets safety regulations (e.g., WSH Act) and design standards.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying potential delays or issues to resolve them proactively.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records, including daily site reports, material management, and project variations.
- Coordination: Liaise with architects, project managers, and clients to align construction with design intent.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of site supervision experience, preferably with knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other technical software.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations and safety compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and proactively solve problems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage on-site logistics effectively.
