Assembly Supervisor

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, some weekends required. This position will train on the 1st shift and gradually move to 2nd Shift.
1st shift - 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd shift - 2:30pm-11:00pm

Essential Job Functions

1. Supervise the production, training, and quality of employees.

2. Responsible for the maintenance of quality and calibration of assembly equipment.

3. Maintain efficient, ergonomically-correct workstations for optimal process speed.

4. Identify housekeeping opportunities while implementing corrections.

5. Report machine problems to maintenance and tooling work orders in a timely manner.

6. Ensure complete and accurate reports are completed on a timely basis.

7. Keep up-to-date records of operator hours and production and rework for daily reporting.

8. Do all product transfers, from warehouse to assembly room, both electronically and physically.

9. Help maintain proper inventory levels on both purchased and molded parts.

10. Perform all other duties assigned by upper management.

11. Administer safety procedures and programs to shift personnel.

12. Conduct daily shift kick off meeting relaying information to employees.

13. Input daily production/rejects into computer.

14. Assistant supervisors are responsible for daily verification of MPS accuracy to process, and make changes accordingly following change request procedure.
