Position Overview:
Assembly Technicians play a crucial role in constructing, assembling, and testing new motors, pumps and equipment following detailed engineering drawings. They will use hand tools, power tools, air tools, and other equipment to fasten components and ensure conformance to specifications for the final build prior to setting up the test area to conduct performance testing as applicable for the required scope of work. The ideal candidate will have some experience in an assembly environment, be proficient in reading/interpreting engineering drawings, and possess the ability to use various measuring equipment with precision. Level 1 (Minimal Experience): Entry-level assembler who may have basic training or limited experience. Responsibilities may include assisting in basic assembly tasks and learning shop processes.
Level 2 (Intermediate Experience): Assembler with moderate experience who can work independently, understand technical documents, and perform more complex tasks under supervision.
Level 3 (Advanced Experience): Skilled assembler who can handle complex assemblies, troubleshoot issues, and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 team members.
Level 4 (Expert Experience): Highly experienced assembly technician with specialized skills.
