Chemours is seeking an Asset Reliability Manager to join our growing Chemours Thermal and Specialized Solutions team! This position will report directly to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager at our Corpus Christi plant located in Ingleside, TX.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Asset Strategy & Lifecycle Management
Develop and execute long-term reliability strategies (3-year reliability improvement plan and 5-year asset strategy)
Establish asset lifecycle plans, equipment criticality, and retirement strategies
Maintain site infrastructure to support reliable plant operation
Compliance & Integrity
Ensure compliance with PSM, regulatory, and engineering standards
Maintain mechanical integrity and inspection programs
Support safe and reliable operations
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Analyze asset performance, production losses, and maintenance costs
Track reliability KPIs and adjust strategies based on data insights
Lead improvement initiatives using Lean, RCFA, and defect elimination tools
Reliability Program Management
Develop predictive maintenance and inspection strategies
Implement condition-based monitoring programs
Ensure effective asset health reporting and risk identification to Operations
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop engineers, technicians, and inspectors
Drive performance management and capability development
Foster cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering
Execution & Integration
Integrate reliability strategies into daily operations
Support turnaround planning and execution
Support capital projects by integrating Reliability into Design and Execution
Financial & Capital Management
Manage reliability budgets
Align capital investments with 5 Yr asset strategy
Resource reliability-related capital projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience
OR10+ years of operations or maintenance experience with leadership responsibility
Experience leading reliability programs
Strong knowledge of RCA, FMEA, and predictive maintenance
Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
Understanding of PSM and mechanical integrity programs
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of API, ASME, NFPA, NEC, and ISA standards
Project or program management experience
SAP PM and Finance knowledge
Familiarity with RAGAGEP and safety instrumented systems
Experience applying Lean methodologies to maintenance processes and supporting the implementation of business systems
