Assistant Cashier

About the job

The Assistant Cashier, where applicable, supervises the vault and coin vault employees. The supervision of employees includes exercising independent discretion to direct and assign work; create scheduling of employees and runs; addressing any problems that are brought to their attention by employees; responsible for opening crew coverage and seeing that vault closing procedures are completely followed; responsible for holdover items and proper direction to appropriate runs; responsible for maintaining/ inputting all appropriate vault records including balance sheets, change funds, coin storage, and precious metal reports.

Must be available Sunday to Thursday from 23:59pm to 07:59am. PAL for restricted and non-restricted firearms is required.

Qualifications

  • Prepare customer's required shipments, as needed.
  • Consolidate customer's deposits in accordance with management requirements.
  • Receive service requirements from Brink's customers in a courteous manner and record any customer complaints.
  • Provide receipts for all shipments received in the vault and obtain receipts for all shipments dispatched from the vault.
  • Immediately notify management of any shipment discrepancy.
  • Observe all security and safety procedures and perform miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Equipment audits (radios, electronic handheld devices, keys, phones, shotguns, etc.)
  • Ensure all documents are dually signed.
