South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking a highly organised, personable, and customer-focused Assistant College Registrar to join our Enrolments team.


As the first point of contact for many prospective families, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional enrolment experience. From managing enquiries and coordinating enrolment interviews to supporting College events and maintaining accurate student records, you'll help ensure every family's journey into the College is seamless and positive.

About the role

Working closely with the College Registrar, you will coordinate the day-to-day administration of the College's enrolment process while providing exceptional service to prospective families and supporting staff.


You'll be responsible for managing enrolment documentation, maintaining accurate records within the College's enrolment systems, coordinating interviews, processing enrolment payments, and assisting with enrolment reporting and College promotional events.


This permanent part-time position is 0.8 FTE (four days per week), with flexibility to work additional days as required. School holiday commitments include one week at the conclusion of each term and up to three weeks during the December/January break.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the student enrolment process from enquiry through to commencement.
  • Maintain accurate enrolment records within DigiStorm Funnel and Compass.
  • Coordinate enrolment interviews and prepare interview documentation.
  • Process and reconcile registration and enrolment deposit payments.
  • Monitor and follow up outstanding enrolment documentation and contracts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current families.
  • Assist with College Tours, Open Days, and enrolment events.
  • Prepare enrolment documentation and communications.
  • Support enrolment reporting and data analysis.
  • Provide administrative support to the College Registrar and collaborate with College staff to facilitate enrolment processes.


About you

You are an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys building relationships, managing detailed processes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administration or customer service role.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A commitment to supporting the Christian mission, values, and culture of the College.


Essential requirements

  • Demonstrated administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
  • A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Active participation in a church or Christian community.
  • Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith.
  • Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College's values and policies.

Desirable

  • Experience working within an education environment.
  • Experience using Compass and/or DigiStorm Funnel.
  • Knowledge of international student enrolment processes.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
