Assistant Executive Director

We are looking to hire an Assistant Executive Director to join our WellQuest Living team.

As the Assistant Executive Director at our Residence of Reno location, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Executive Director and management team to support operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service and employee satisfaction. Prior management experience in senior living, assisted living, healthcare leadership or hospitality leadership is strongly preferred. This position has excellent growth potential for those interested in pursuing a long-term career.

Duties:

1. In alignment with the Company's mission and values, the Assistant Executive Director provides critical support to the Senior Executive Director (SED) in overseeing the daily operations and managing team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents.

2. Additionally, a key strategic component is the ability to learn from the SED and other leadership to develop into an ED role in the future.

3. Assists the Senior Executive Director in the overall management of the Community.

4. Perform administrative dues for the Community, including recruiting, background checks, payroll, maintenance of personnel files, employee orientation, and benefits.

5. Coordinate all risk management activities.

6. Perform, administer, and oversee all accounting functions.

7. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.

8. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

9. Maintains a 24-hour operating schedule.

10. Responsible for the workplace safety including, but not limited to, active Safety Committee, adherence to all OSHA requirements, proper safety training for all employees, injury and illness Prevention Plan, Hazard Communications Plan, Exposure Control Plan, and management of workers’ compensation injuries.

11. Promotes and displays a spirit of teamwork in the performance of daily dues through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

12. Support a positive and professional image through actions and dress.

13. Performs other dues as assigned.
