Assistant Housekeeping Manager
- Planning and organizing the work schedule of department in accordance with business needs
- Attendance records, employee performance evaluation, implementation and monitoring of the application of standards and procedures in the department
- Work in computer programs for recording working hours, orders, etc.
- Planning the number of employees in the department and participating in their selection and training
- Planning the annual budget and monitoring the costs of the department
- Supervision of cleanliness and tidiness of rooms and public areas of the hotel
- Cooperation with other managers related to the needs of guests and maintaining cleanliness
- In cooperation with the reception manager, AHM takes care of VIP guests, as well as any requests of other guests
- In cooperation with the maintenance manager, AHM controls the maintenance of furniture and other inventory in the hotel
- Monitors the stock of consumables and the condition of the necessary equipment and, if necessary, orders new ones
- Organizes inventories and monthly inventories of all necessary materials, equipment and supplies, bedding and uniforms
- Analyzes results and suggests improvements to increase efficiency and quality of service
- Previous work experience in the same or similar position (min. 2-3 years)
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of household standards and regulations
- Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- MS Office
- English and Croatian language
- EU citizenship
