Assistant IT Manager (General IT / Cybersecurity)

Job Description:

  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks,computers, printers, and communication systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, andsystem-related issues.
  • Administer email systems, user accounts, and access permissions.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, software licenses, and equipment procurement.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and project delivery.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of business applications, ERP systems, document management systems, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies,procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including security monitoring, user awareness training, vulnerability management, and compliance programs.
  • Support Cyber Trust Mark certification,cybersecurity audits, and insurance-related security requirements.
  • Ensure regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity measures are in place.
  • Manage IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Prepare IT proposals, budgets, and recommendations for management review.
  • Supervise and guide IT support personnel and coordinate IT-related training for employees.

Requirements:

  • Preferably Degree in Information Technology,Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experiencein a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Network architecture and administration
  • Server and virtualization technologies
  • Experiencein managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
  • Experienceworking with external vendors and managing IT projects.
