Assistant IT Network Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Scheduling

· Support with development of project plans, defining scope, objectives and deliverables, creating clear schedules and allocating resources to ensure successful project execution.

· Monitor project progress, adjust plans and resources as needed to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project goals.

· Establish and maintain project governance with PMO, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and best practices.

Stakeholder Communication and Management

· Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, sponsors, and manage expectations and conflicts to ensure alignment with project goals

· Lead and present regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the project lifecycle

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are of high quality

Risk Management and Issue Resolution

· Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts

· Troubleshoot problems and guide project teams to resolve issues and keep projects on track

· Conduct regular review with line manager and raise escalation when required

Project Performance and Delivery

· Evaluate project performance against objectives, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and drive successful project outcomes

· Provide guidance and oversight to network engineering teams during the implementation phase, and ensure that network designs are accurately translated into operational networks

· Facilitate smooth transitions, mitigate resistance, and ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies, may require on-call support for key project milestones/system go-live

· Support the development and maintenance of documentation relating to network architecture, design, and configuration for reference and troubleshooting purposes

Technical Service Delivery

· Deliver the Division IT Network Core-Models that defined by the division.

· Drive the conversation of having mutualized standard to implement, maintain, and supports in Asia for multi-maisons.


Operational Support & Compliance

· Manage enterprise scale partners such as “managed service provider – MSP”, for operational excellence.

· Respect ITIL process on Request, Incident management (e.g. SLA/RCA), and Change Management (e.g. CAB)

Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing

· Participate in knowledge sharing and training initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning

· Ensure alignment of network infrastructure with organization requirements and industry best practices

PROFILE

• Degree holder in computer science, information technology or related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years solid exposure in IT network management & project management role

• In-depth knowledge in IT infrastructure including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, SDWAN & Zscaler

o E.g. Meraki SDWAN & LAN products, Cisco ISE/ Microsoft Radius, Secure certificate authentication, Zscaler ZIA & ZPA.

• Sound knowledge in network security tools: NAC, Palo Alto Firewall, Azure/GCP landing zone

• Proven experience in managing multiple enterprise scale projects in cross-functional environment, like allocating resources, scheduling, risk management, escalations, and budget

• Strong vendor management skill, able to manage international telco, ISP and IT managed service providers

• End user facing and internal customer service in MNC, working experience in retail company is a plus

• Holder of Cisco CCNP, PMP, Cloud networking certification are preferred
