Assistant Manager-Business Leader-Leadership and Management
Provide comprehensive healthcare management to facilitate delivery of appropriate quality healthcare, promote cost effective outcomes and improve program/operational efficiency involving clinical issues.
• The Supervisor is responsible for management of medical services staff including the organization and development of high performing teams
• Works closely with managers ensuring consistency in care management interventions across membership
• Facilitates effective interfaces among team members, as well as across teams, providers and departments
• Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of medical management services policies and procedures
• Accountable for meeting the financial, operational and quality objectives of the unit
• Position requires proficiency with computer skills which includes navigating multiple systems and keyboarding
• Computer literacy and experience familiarity with Excel, MS Word, and web-based applications desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Providers, Members, and Staff & Upper Management in both an oral and written format (e.g. may provide support to the sales staff & network staff via onsite customer visits and/or presentations)
• Ability to evaluate and interpret clinical and utilization data, identify areas of improvement, and focus on interventions to improve outcomes.
• Able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives.
