Assistant Manager, Creative Content Operations

Job Responsibilities
1. Production & Workflow Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of content production from intake and planning to delivery and asset management.
- Implement and enforce structured workflows to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all shoots and projects.
- Manage project timelines, review cycles, and stakeholder approvals to minimise rework and delays.
- Ensure alignment to brand guidelines, visual standards, and compliance requirements.
2. Resource Planning & Capacity Optimisation
- Develop forward-looking resource plans to balance in-house team bandwidth vs. outsourced production.
- Track workload distribution by business unit and project tier, ensuring optimal utilisation of FTE and budgets.
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively adjust priorities in collaboration with Brand and Marketing leads.
3. Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage a roster of external production partners, agencies, and freelancers.
- Provide recommendations on vendor selection, scope, and cost optimisation.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining creative quality.
- Support procurement processes including RFQs, contracts, and performance evaluation.
4. Intake & Governance Frameworks
- Design and manage a centralised intake process for all content requests.
- Establish clear project scoping protocols to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and budgets from the outset.
- Drive adherence to operational governance frameworks, including shoot approvals, asset management, and documentation standards.
5. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the key liaison between Business Units, Marketing, and Creative teams.
- Translate creative and production requirements into clear operational plans.
- Provide regular updates on project health, capacity, and delivery risks
6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to enhance tools, workflows, and production processes.
- Drive adoption of systems (e.g., project tracking, asset management platforms) to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Champion best practices across content production, ensuring scalability as demand increases.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Diploma in any media related field.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in creative operations, content production, or studio/project management.
- Strong understanding of film, photography, and digital content production workflows.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience balancing in-house and outsourced production models.
