Assistant Manager
As an Assistant Manager – Data Scientist, you will play a key role in bridging technical expertise with business strategy. You will oversee data science initiatives, ensure high-quality model development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. This role requires both hands-on analytical skills and leadership capabilities to guide projects from conception to execution.
- Lead and manage small to mid-scale data science projects.
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
- Mentor and support junior data scientists and analysts.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear, actionable manner.
- Stay updated with emerging tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
