Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager – India Destination is responsible for driving student recruitment through B2B channels by promoting India as a preferred higher education destination. The role focuses on developing and managing relationships with education agents, channel partners, schools, and institutional stakeholders while overseeing the end-to-end application and admissions process. The incumbent will support the Regional Manager in executing recruitment strategies, expanding partner networks, and achieving regional enrolment and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partner Management

  • Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with education agents, recruitment partners, schools, and institutional stakeholders across assigned markets.

  • Promote India as a preferred higher education destination and position the organization's university partners effectively within the market.

  • Support the Regional Manager in developing and executing B2B market expansion strategies to achieve enrolment and revenue objectives.

  • Conduct regular partner meetings, business reviews, and training sessions to enhance partner performance and engagement.

  • Work closely with university partners to develop market-specific recruitment and promotional strategies.

  • Open to Travel as and when required

Recruitment & Admissions Operations

  • Manage the end-to-end application process received through B2B partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.

  • Coordinate with university admissions teams regarding application processing, offer letters, admissions, deposits, and enrolment.

  • Monitor application pipelines and proactively follow up with recruitment partners to maximise offer-to-enrolment conversion.

  • Generate and track student deposits upon offer acceptance and ensure timely payment collection.

  • Maintain accurate records of applications, offers, deposits, and enrolments using CRM and internal systems.

  • Ensure compliance with university admission requirements, partner agreements, and organizational policies.

Partner Engagement & Marketing

  • Plan and deliver partner training sessions, seminars, webinars, workshops, and product knowledge sessions for education agents and recruitment partners.

  • Represent the organization at education exhibitions, partner events, networking forums, and recruitment activities.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop B2B promotional materials, partner flyers, presentations, brochures, and campaign collateral.

  • Support the execution of joint marketing initiatives with university partners and recruitment agencies.

  • Share updates on university programs, scholarships, admission policies, and promotional campaigns with channel partners.

Regional Growth & Reporting

  • Support the Regional Manager in achieving recruitment, revenue, and business development targets.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and partner performance to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Prepare regular reports on applications, offers, deposits, enrolments, and partner performance.

  • Track recruitment KPIs and recommend strategies to improve conversion rates and partner productivity.

  • Travel extensively within assigned regions and internationally (as required) for partner visits, university meetings, education fairs, and business development activities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of regional enrolment and revenue targets.

  • Growth in active B2B recruitment of student

  • Application processing accuracy and turnaround time.

  • Offer-to-deposit and deposit-to-enrolment conversion rates.

  • Partner engagement through training sessions, webinars, and business reviews.

  • Successful execution of joint marketing initiatives with partners and universities.

  • Timely reporting and CRM management.

  • Contribution to regional business growth and support provided to the Regional Manager.

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Student Recruitment, including 3+ years in the education industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving enrolment, revenue, and business growth targets.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to independently manage partner relationships and drive regional growth.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems for reporting and data analysis.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
