About your team

Asset Management CAO team is responsible front to back, for the operational and supporting capabilities across investment management. The Investment Management Solutions team is a cross asset delivery & support function driving collaboration, consistency & execution across the global asset management platform. The team drives strategic initiatives, provide support services enabling our investment team, and partners with our investment leaders to strengthen oversight, risk controls & regional regulatory engagement.

About your role
You will support the delivery and ongoing development of the Research Solutions function across Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset teams. Working as part of a cross-asset team, you will contribute to the execution of research governance, operational processes, analytical reporting and support activities that enable effective investment research oversight and decision-making.

The role will involve working across a range of operational and analytical responsibilities, including supporting external research processes, governance activities, reporting and process improvement initiatives. You will be expected to operate independently across assigned responsibilities while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and ongoing improvement of research governance processes and operational workflows across asset classes
  • Assist in the coordination and administration of external research processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency and timely delivery of activities
  • Produce reporting, analysis and management information to support governance forums, oversight activities and stakeholder decision-making
  • Monitor process effectiveness, identify inefficiencies and support implementation of operational improvements
  • Support data analysis and utilisation initiatives to enhance transparency, controls and operational insight
  • Coordinate activities across stakeholders and support functions to ensure smooth delivery of research support processes
  • Assist with risk identification, issue tracking and maintenance of strong operational controls across research-related processes
  • Maintain documentation, process materials and governance records to support consistency and operational effectiveness
  • Build effective working relationships across investment, operations and support teams
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members where appropriate and contribute positively to team development

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Experience within asset management, investment operations, research support, business management or related environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently and prioritise effectively across multiple activities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Interest in investment research processes, governance and operational effectiveness
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Exposure to process improvement, workflow optimisation or operational change initiatives would be beneficial
  • Data-oriented mindset with experience working with reporting, analysis and operational metrics Exposure to research platforms, AI tooling and data visualisation technologies such as Bloomberg, AlphaSense, Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python would also be advantageous
