<\/p>- Serve as a technical risk expert responsible for evaluating and managing agricultural insurance portfolios under the PMFBY<\/b> and RWBCIS<\/b> frameworks.
<\/li>- Bridge the gap between raw data and strategic decision\-making by identifying various risks based on both Qualitative<\/b> and Quantitative<\/b> parameters.
<\/li>- Drive the Tender Analysis<\/b> process by converting complex government data into actionable risk\-return profiles for different state clusters.
<\/li>- Coordinate between specialized units like UW, Actuarial<\/b>, Weather & Remote Sensing<\/b>, and Field Operations<\/b> to ensure a holistic approach to risk identification and risk mitigation.

<\/p>- Qualitative Assessment:<\/b> Evaluate non\-numeric risk factors such as political environment, moral hazard (farmer behavior), local agronomic practices etc for specific crops.
<\/li>- Quantitative Modeling:<\/b> Analyze historical yield data and Loss Ratio Trends under Yield Loss<\/b> and Add\-on cover<\/b> scenarios to estimate future financial liabilities.
<\/li>- Tender Management:<\/b> Lead the preparation and validation of large\-scale data for government tenders and perform cluster\-wise risk\-return analysis for bidding.
<\/li>- Scheme Compliance:<\/b> Good understanding of Operational Guidelines<\/b> of PMFBY and Govt Tech initiatives.
<\/li>- Cross\-Functional Collaboration:<\/b> Work closely with the Underwriting, Field, Operations, Weather/Remote Sensing, and Actuarial teams to refine risk strategies.

<\/p>- Experience:<\/b> 3\u20134 years of core experience in general insurance, specifically in Crop Insurance Risk Management<\/b> for both PMFBY and RWBCIS.
<\/li>- Basic understanding of weather parameters<\/b> and Remote Sensing indices<\/b> (e.g., NDVI) used in crop health monitoring
<\/li>- Technical Efficiency:<\/b> Advanced mastery of MS Excel<\/b> (pivot tables, complex formulas, data cleaning for millions of rows) and high proficiency in all other MS Office tools<\/b>.
<\/li>- Presentation Skills:<\/b> Proven ability to create high\-impact MS PowerPoint<\/b> presentations for internal stakeholders and management reviews.
<\/li>- Analytical Skills:<\/b> Strong ability to identify data anomalies and perform gap analysis on diverse datasets.
<\/li>- Communication:<\/b> Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external liaison.
